***Catering Assistants*** PGL is the UK's leading provider of residential activity holidays and educational courses for children. With guests spending their days climbing, abseiling and quad biking, amongst other activities, they build up a big appetite! Our catering team prepare home-cooked, canteen style dishes for up to 800 staff and guests each meal time. Our Catering Assistants have busy, but enjoyable days, preparing food, cleaning the kitchen and dining room, serving meals and assisting with deliveries. No two days are the same! Barton Hall activity centre is one of our larger venues, located on the outskirts of Torquay just outside the villages of Kingskerswell and Barton. Up to 650 energetic young guests stay at the centre at the height of the season, taking part in around 30 activities within the 46 acres of grounds. We have a variety of flexible shifts and working arrangements avaialble, from full-time residential to part-time live-off options. We're looking for people who can commit to work for us starting within the next two weeks and able to work until the end of the season, currently the end of October 2007, on a fixed-term contract basis.
