My client is a global blue-chip organisation, they are looking for an ARM Engineer to join their Hertfordshire site. Reporting to Project Support Manager's on a daily basis, the ARM Engineer will be responsible for practical application of the Availability Reliability and Maintainability (ARM) philosophy. Tasks will include the use of proprietary analysis tools eg Relex, Opus etc, to have an understanding and experience of the effect of testability on MART and being able to demonstrate a very good understanding of the effect of reliability under different environments (parts count and parts stress analysis up to system level). Project tasks will include liaising with subcontractors and customers on ARM issues, managing project ARM deliverables for quality, schedule & budget and assisting in the development of mid term and long term workload plans. Degree, Diploma or BTEC in Tech authoring or a Degree in an Engineering discipline or similar Some previous experienced in the application of ARM or be an experienced Armed Forces ARM practitioner with equivalent experience. Be confident & experienced to make work related decisions independently. Comprehensive understanding and ability to interpret and action ARM standards, methodologies and terminology as required.
