Aeronautical Engineer (Rotorcraft) - Lynx airframe experience highly desirable. Position Responsibilities: Responsible to Lynx IPT to assist in the duties as Engineering Authority (EA) for the structure and mechanical systems of Royal Naval and Army Lynx aircraft. This includes:- a.Assisting Lynx IPT in the duties and responsibilities in maintaining airworthiness and integrity of Lynx structure and mechanical systems. b.Assisting Lynx IPT in monitoring and analysing trends in the performance of the Lynx airframe and mechanical systems. c.Assisting Lynx IPT in the maintenance of configuration control on all marks of Lynx aircraft. d.Carrying out technical investigations and preparing reports or briefs as required. e.Acting as the focal point within the Lynx IPT for mechanical systems MF765 Unsatisfactory Feature Reports (UFR) by: Progressing and monitoring all mechanical system MF765 Unsatisfactory Feature Reports Maintaining the MF765 UFR database. Ensuring follow up actions resulting from UFRs are progressed. Monitoring AP amendments to ensure closing action is taken. Liaison with WHL Tech Pubs in pursuance of the above tasks. f.General office administrative duties including maintenance of computer databases, configuration control records, Air Publications and statistical information.
