A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an independent luxury tour operator for the Far East, Indian Ocean & beyond. The company is well established, being its twenty first year of operation as a specialist in those destinations. Being a small, friendly family owned and run business they pride themselves on customer service and satisfaction. They are a very upmarket tour operator with years of experience behind them; therefore require an experienced tailor-made specialist to take on a Managerial role, with fantastic knowledge of their destinations. Manager's Responsibilities - Manage a small team of 2/3 whilst still having a hands on approach - Report to MD - Ensure enquiries are dealt with in a helpful and precise manner ascertaining requirements - Adopt a courteous and helpful manner at all times in order to ascertain client needs - Offer the best travel solutions based on clients requirements - Tailor itineraries to meet specific client's requests - Achieve individual and drive to hit team sales targets - Adhere to deadlines - Offer the highest level of customer service at all times Manager Remuneration and Benefits - Professional working environment - Educationals - Salary – from £21,000 basic + Comm Manager's Knowledge and Skills Required - Exceptional telephone manner - 1 to 2 years Managerial/Senior Consultant experience within the travel industry - Strong knowledge of the Far East and Indian Ocean, having travelled and sold there - Good sales techniques - Attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure - Applicants need to be computer literate with good writing/keyboard skills - Friendly and sociable whilst professional For a fully confidential discussion on this job, please contact Georgia on 020 7923 6931.
