SR Technics UK Ltd is part of the world’s largest independent provider of total solutions for airlines and aviation companies. Our headquarters at London Stansted is the heart of a comprehensive operational network offering the full range of light and line maintenance, design and engineering, component repair, supply chain, training and technical services to worldwide accreditation standards. Based at our London Stansted head office is our UK Technical Training School. The school Plans, prepares and provides a variety of technical training on various aircraft types to both internal and external customers in our state-of-the-art facilities with blended learning. We currently have a vacancy for a B1 Technical Training Instructor to join our small, professional team to assist us in achieving high quality results in a competitive market. We are looking for people who are passionate about the aviation industry as well as about inspiring people to learn and progress in their own careers. It is essential that the candidate has previous aircraft engineering experience to licence standard on the types to be instructed on (ideally Boeing 737, 757 & 767) as well as demonstrable knowledge of JAR/EASA IR Part 147 and EASA 66. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include: ·To work within the framework of a Group team that prepares and deliver B737/757/767/A320 courses for the Company’s internal/external customers. ·To ensure that the content of the courses meets the business needs of IR Part 147 and the Company. ·To prepare students to the level required for examinations. ·Act as Examiner & Invigilator under the MTOE including the provision of examination questions for the School Question Database. Key Requirements for this role: ·JAR147/145 Instructional experience or equivalent military experience as an Instructor. (A candidate who has no instructional experience but is deemed suitable for the position will be given Instructional Techniques Training) ·Previous aircraft engineering experience to licence standard on the types to be instructed on. ·Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
