Job description
SR Technics UK Ltd is part of the world’s largest independent provider of total solutions for airlines and aviation companies. Our headquarters at London Stansted is the heart of a comprehensive operational network offering the full range of light and line maintenance, design and engineering, component repair, supply chain, training and technical services to worldwide accreditation standards. London Stansted is not only the home of our UK head office but is also the base for our largest Line Station & hangar facility in the UK. We support a number of customers at this base with the following aircraft types; Boeing 737 (Classic and New Generation), 757, 767 and Airbus A320 family. We are currently carrying out scheduled A Check’s on two customer aircraft per night, involving defect rectifications, component changes and modifications to a tight timescale. We are looking for excellent engineers who have experience of working in a light or line environment, delivering high quality work, safely and on time. It is essential that the candidate holds a current valid EASA part 66 license and have approvals on Airbus A320 family. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include: ·Working within a team and being able to lead small teams to carry out maintenance and inspection tasks safely, efficiently and in the most cost effective way. ·Liaising with other engineers, MCC and customer service reps to ensure that they are fully informed of developments in a delay situation. ·Ensuring the equipment and premises are maintained to a satisfactory standard and that discrepancies are reported to the appropriate departments, both within and external to the Company. ·Ensuring all company and legal requirements appertaining to aircraft inspection and maintenance are complied with. ·Maintaining acceptable airworthiness, safety and performance standards in their area of responsibility. Key Requirements for this role: ·EASA part 66 License ·Approval on Airbus A320 ·5 year checkable work history in order to obtain an airside pass ·Ability to provide a Criminal Record Check in order to obtain an airside pass ·Full driving license ·Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
