BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Chemical Distribution
Location: Based West Yorkshire (Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax, Harrogate, York, Wakefield)
Salary: £27 - 32,000 basic + bonus + excellent package
Our client is one of the UK's leading distributors of speciality chemicals, who pride themselves on their technical expertise and their commercial partnerships with market leading chemical manufacturers. They supply a wide range of chemicals including surfactants, agents and silicones, used in the Personal Care, Homecare and Industrial Markets.
Due to continual growth, they require an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to join the established team.
Role
- To constantly look for new opportunities and distribution agreements that would benefit the company.
- To actively communicate policy/strategy and new product introduction with all relevant departments.
- This role is primarily supplier facing, however you will also be responsible for client visits alongside the Account Managers where necessary.
- Based from the West Yorkshire office, with one week in eight involving International travel.
Requirements
- Previous experience dealing within the chemicals market place is advantageous.
- Essential requirements include; Sales experience, excellent communication skills and self motivation.
- The successful candidate will have drive, personality and passion, to match that of the company.
- This role would be ideal for Chemistry graduates with sales/commercial experience looking to learn other aspects of business in the Chemical industry.
