JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager IT Security Services Sales
SELLING: UK wide.
SELLING TO: Private and public sector, at IT director level.
TERRITORY: UK wide, with a focus on your location.
LOCATION: Commutable distance of either the London or Bradford office.
PACKAGE: £35K - £40K basic, £70K - £100K OTE, healthcare and pension.

- 3 UK offices.
YOU MUST HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING
- Must have a proven track record of new business into medium sized corporate organisations or public sector.
- 15 or 20 contacts of IT directors or IT managers.
- New business hunter.
IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING
- Ideally selling security, although this is by no means essential.
ROLE INFORMATION
- Selling hardware, software and services around core and cutting edge security technologies, including managed security services, email security, web content security, secure remote access, perimeter security, intrusion protection and prevention, identity management, consultancy such as security audits and penetration testing.
- The Business Development Manager will be selling to private and public sector, although moreso in the public sector.
- 100% new business sales, managing accounts as they are won.
- Sales cycles from 2 weeks to 4 or 5 months.
- The main point of contact for the Business Development Manager will be almost exclusively IT directors and IT managers.
- Deals will be from £10K to £100K, although they can be as large as £350K.
- Back up will be provided to the Business Development Manager by leads passed from the managing directors personal database, leads and conferences from technology partners, telesales function inhouse and a team of 16 professionals that assist in meetings.
- Target of £20K minimum gross profit per month.
- 20% commission paid on gross profit, with no threshold.
