JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager IT Services Sales
SELLING: Managed Services, Consulting Services, Security And Professional Services.
SELLING TO: Companies with between 50 and 5000 users in both private and public sector.
TERRITORY: South East, London, Reading, Field Based.
LOCATION: Oxfordshire, South East, National.
PACKAGE: £35K - £45K basic, £100K OTE, £6K car allowance, pension, healthcare, business tools and fuel expenses.

YOU MUST HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING
- New business hunter.
- Must have sold to either local government or public sector.
- Must have sold relevant reseller solutions.
- Must be an autonomous individual.
IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING
- Government sales experience.
ROLE INFORMATION
- Selling managed services, consulting services, security and professional services. and implementation services. They get involved in things such as managed help desk, storage area networks around the core infrastructure and networks.
- Core technologies are Microsoft, Cisco, HP and Citrix. They also do LAN and WAN.
- The Business Development Manager will be selling to companies with between 50 and 5000 users in both private and public sector.
- Hardware, software and services sales but mainly services.
- Pure new business and retain role.
- Sales cycles handled by the Business Development Manager will be from 2 weeks to 9 months.
- Typically selling to heads of department within public sector and IT director or owner when selling n the private sector.
- Deals from £50K to £250K.
- Back up will be provided to the Business Development Manager by 2 telesales people providing leads, a wide network of partners and vendor accredited solution experts.
- Target of £35K gross profit per month will be set for the Business Development Manager.
