JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager SAP Consultancy & Professional Services Sales
SELLING: SAP Consultancy & Professional Services.
SELLING TO: Wholesales and distribution, retail and consumer packaged goods.
TERRITORY: UK wide.
LOCATION: Able to commute 3 times per week to the Basingstoke office, living in South East.
PACKAGE: Up to £80K basic, £160K OTE, £6K - £7K car allowance, healthcare, pension, life insurance and fuel expenses.

- Turnover of £10million.
- They are part of a larger group that turnover $100million.
- They are the UK's most successful SAP reseller in wholesales, distribution and CPG markets.
- 65 employees.
- Established since 1986.
YOU MUST HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING
- The Business Development Manager must have sold ERP related solutions, although not necessarily SAP.
- Must be a new business hunter that is able to demonstrate cradle to grave deals that have been carried out without the use of massive support functions.
- Need to have a proven track record of sales within the private sector, at either SMB or enterprise level.
ROLE INFORMATION
- New business sales role managing and retaining accounts as they are won.
- SAP implementation company; this role will involve selling consultancy and professional services, with some licences (10% 15%), but leading with consultancy and consulting and fitting around SAP.
- The Business Development Manager will be selling to wholesales and distribution, retail and consumer packaged goods.
- Focus on companies with between £30million and £150million turnover in the midmarket.
- Sales cycles from 1 month to 6 months.
- Points of contact for the Business Development Manager will be anything from managing director, to finance director, supply chain director, distribution director or C-level.
- Deals will be from £50K to £2million, with an average of around £500K.
- Back up will be provided to the Business Development Manager by leads from SAP, telesales, marketing professionals, collaboration with US offices and onshore delivery from mainly ex-SAP consultants.
- Target of £2million.
