Operations Manager/Company Secretary
OPERATIONS MANAGER/COMPANY SECRETARY (FINANCIAL SERVICES)
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Operational
Ensuring the smooth running of the office, supporting and reviewing the work of the company secretarial and support teams
Managing and reviewing the work of a team of accountants overseas
Managing the workflow with the accountants overseas to ensure the provision of high quality service to clients based in Singapore
Liaising with the legal and accounting departments and with the organisation management and clients
Liaising with the other group organisation's offices
Company Secretarial
Management and maintenance of a portfolio of Singapore entities that the group administers on behalf of clients, and act as company secretary and director to such entities
Liaising with the legal and accounting departments and with management and clients
Maintenance of statutory records
Company formations
Issuing share certificates and recording transfers and allotments of shares
Convening AGMs and preparation of documents adopting the elective regime
Preparation of documentation to strike off companies
Maintaining and updating database (Viewpoint) for all client companies
Responsibility for compliance, including maintaining clients
The ideal candidate's qualifications and experience:
Qualified chartered secretary (ICSA) or at least 3 years' equivalent experience in the corporate secretarial field
Proven experience in managing a team of staff in a similar environment
Strong team player who demonstrates maturity, perseverance and commercial sense
Sound understanding of the Singapore Companies Act, CAP 50 and ACRA and of MAS regulatory issues
Experience in Viewpoint will be considered an advantage
Ability to organise and prioritise work with a minimum of supervision and with a flexible and proactive attitude
Experience with time charging and direct client contact is advantageous
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
