Sigmar Aviation on behalf of our client Arik Air an Award Winning Airline based in Africa is currently seeking suitable CRJ900 (CL65) applicants for permanent positions.
Positions that are available include:
• CRJ900 (CL65) First Officers
• CRJ900 (CL65) Line Captains
• CRJ900 (CL65) Instructors & Examiners
Ideally candidates will be current on type holding a valid ICAO/JAA/FAA license with a CRJ900 (CL65) endorsement.
Candidates who are not current on type may still be considered subject to recurrent training.
Our Client, Arik Air has been operational since October 2006 and within this very short period of time they have achieved a phenomenal amount of success.
Commencing operations with 2 x Hawker 850XP, 3 x CRJ900 and 2 x B737-300 aircraft they have increased capacity by introducing a further 4 x B737-700, 1 x CRJ900, 1 x CRJ200 and expect later this year the introduction of 4 x Q400 and 2 x B737-800 aircraft.
In March of this year it was announced that Arik Air had won the prestigious “Airline of the Year” award winning out from such competition as; Virgin Nigeria, Aero Contractors and Bellview………
In April of this year the United States, Department of Transport gave approval for Arik Air to commence commercial flights direct from Nigeria to the United States. Some of the initial routes that Arik Air are expected to serve in the United States are Houston, Los Angeles and Atlanta.
Arik Air have 5 x B777 and 7 x B787 aircraft on delivery from Boeing that are due for delivery from 2010 through to 2014.
