Job description
We currently have a vacancy for a Brake Cell Supervisor to work on our Feltham site in Middlesex. We are ideally looking for candidates with a background in this. Your core responsibilities will be to: Encourage a strong Health and Safety Culture and support timely Safety Observation Report closure. Set Productivity targets to maximise efficiency and highlight process deficiencies. Aligning to TAT, OTTR & OTD Goals. Encourage a disciplined and continuous improvement driven attitude within the team Using Honeywell Operating System and Standard work (including Leader Standard Work) across all Operational processes. Lead team related Quality, Safety and Production issue problem solving. Ensure all work carried out by the team is in accordance with relevant Quality procedures. Strive to develop processes that ensure robust closure of Corrective Action Reports. Minimise Customer Escapes and PPM. Implement Process Control by using predetermined monthly metrics. (I.e. TAT, OTTR, OTD & PU). Ensure team maintain a clean and safe working environment through 5S & TPM procedures. Liaise with relevant departments to maintain production targets & efficiencies. Attend relevant production/process related meetings and disseminate information to team members. Manage team administrative & disciplinary functions, including; Manpower Planning, Vacation, Shift Roster, Absenteeism & back to work interviews. Assist in Recruitment etc. Co-ordinate / Conduct annual associate appraisals and assess/award annual salary increments in alignment with Honeywell behaviours. Establish training plan to ensure employee / key skill development & to aid production, including appointing a deputy Supervisor. If necessary act as deputy Operations Leader and assist with overall shop planning, problem solving and cross team supervision.
