The successful applicant will be part of a team that designs and develops electronic control systems for the aerospace and military markets. This equipment is to support Honeywell ECS, oxygen and hydraulics business.
Job Dimensions
Take responsibility for electronic designs and technical support to projects. Design and develop electronic circuitry suitable for aerospace applications. Design, document and validate equipment. Interface to customers, both internal and external.
Job Context
The job holder will be experienced in electronic design and will:
•Be required to work closely with other design teams to monitor requirements, produce documents and analyse detailed designs.
•Be conversant with the production of technical procurements specifications, failure modes and effects analysis and reliability and maintainability data.
•Be competent in the use of a computer aided design package for schematic capture and simulation (Mentor an asset).
•Have a good working understanding of low frequency analogue interface design.
•Be competent in modern, low power digital circuit design.
•Be required to validate special-to-type test equipment and liase with equipment suppliers and Engineering Test Services.
•Interface with Project and Electronics Engineers.
•Be competent in the use of PC based tools, including Word and Excel.
•Produce quality documentation in support of manufacturing operations.
