THE ROLE
A business development field sales engineers role has arisen with one of the UK's leading technology providers. This UK sales role will involve selling a wide range of technology sharing solutions within Lasers & Neutron fields into all sectors of industry including Pharmaceutical companies, Manufacturing and General Industry. One will be dealing across all levels from MD's and FD's to Product Managers, R&D Managers, Lab Managers and Technical Directors. The role will involve providing a high level of sales and service to existing accounts whilst also proactively developing new business. The sales process is solution led and of a technical nature and will involve using technical understanding paired with commercial ability to develop the best solution to meet the client long term requirements. This work from home role will involve regular office contact liaising heavily with the internal sales team and scientists so a real people person in required.

THE CANDIDATE
·A senior sales engineer with a strong scientific understanding, ideally someone with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree OR a Physics or Chemistry degree.
·An excellent new business hunter with the ability to provide a high level of account management to existing accounts.
·Someone with excellent networking skills and the ability to communicate confidently with Scientist through to FD's.
·Someone with the ability to sell a bespoke solution, matching the solution to the clients individual requirements.
·A focussed individual with the ability to work from home whilst liaising well with the internal team.
·Excellent communication and presentation skills.
THE PACKAGE
Basic Salary: £35,000
Commission: £45,000
