We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Manager to join a leading automotive retail group at one of their specialist dealerships in Oxfordshire. JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a critical leadership position and requires an individual who is able to generate impressive results by increasing sales of new and used vehicles. Key challenges will be to lead, coach and develop approximately 50 staff members to achieve the strategic objectives of the company and exceed the planned profitability of the site. You will be responsible for the growth and development of all departments within the dealership and you will be challenged to exceed manufacturer volume targets, achieve high customer satisfaction levels and deliver a good profit performance. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: This role is challenging yet rewarding and suitable only for a top quality General Manager who possesses a minimum of 4 years\' motor retail management experience. The successful candidate will currently be in a main dealer franchise and come from a sales background. You will have a proven track record of achievement, be process driven and possess excellent man-management skills. You have to be able to inspire and motivate a team, ensuring they remain totally customer-focused whilst demonstrating natural business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit.
