Housekeeping Manager We're looking for someone with experience of managing a small team of staff in a hospitality capacity to join us as the Housekeeper at our Dalguise residential activity centre in Perthshire. Our Housekeepers are responsible for ensuring the residential aspect of our guests' stay exceeds their expectations. This position requires an element of multi-tasking, as the successful candidate will undertake administrative duties, manage a team of around six Housekeeping Assistants, oversee the presentation of the centre's accommodation and stock control the associated cleaning products. The role of Housekeeper is available as either a live-in contract, with accommodation provided on site, or a live-out contract. The wages are adapted accordingly. The contract is based on working 42 hours over a six-day week. Some weekend work will be required. We're looking for someone who can inspire and motivate their team to deliver the highest level of service and customer experience. Previous experience of working in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is essential. The successful candidate will possess good communication skills and will be able to demonstrate experience of managing staff and work schedules in their application. This role requires a methodical approach to administrative duties and the ability to ensure the active effective liaison with other departments to maximise customer and staff satisfaction. PGL Dalguise is the former summer home of author Beatrix Potter and has been converted to an adventure activity paradise in 58 acres of grounds. Up to 250 eager young guests can descend on the site at the height of the season. With a staff team of 50 living and working at the site, there’s an active social life ready and waiting. This position is offered as a 12 month contract, starting in April 2007.
