The Cambridge office of this medium-sized Legal500 firm is looking for an IP lawyer.The Cambridge office is dedicated to working with technology businesses and those who invest in them. The successful candidate would be one of a team of eight lawyers three partners and five associates and would work mainly with one partner specialising in IP and IT agreements, including patent and software licensing, research and development agreements, collaborations, clinical trials agreements and distribution & agency agreements; the commercial and intellectual property aspects of technology transactions including spin-outs, start-ups, venture capital investment, trade sales and IPOs; and IP and IT contract disputes including patent validity and infringement issues.All work is primarily in the industry sectors of life sciences and healthcare, IT, clean technology and telecommunications as well as a range of other technologies.Candidates must be UK-qualified solicitors with one to five years' PQE, and will have trained in a City firm. Some in-house experience would be useful but not essential.Excellent career prospects and a highly competitive remuneration package can be expected.
