Leading South West law firm seeks to recruit an experienced Insolvency Solicitor/Head of Department to join their office in Plymouth. Plymouth is undergoing a very active period of regeneration and this post offers not only the opporutnity for dynamic candidates to make their mark rapidly in the business community but also early partnership prospects in this forward thinking LLP. The firm has 7 partners, who work alongside a number of consultants, solicitors, legal executives and assistants, all specialising in different fields covering a broad legal spectrum – commercial, civil, personal, family and other specialist areas. The client base ranges from private individuals to corporate entities principally in London and the South West. The successful candidate will join the commercial department as an Insovlency Solicitor developing existing relations of the firm with local insolvency practitioners and setting up a new dedicated practice area. Working alongside the corporate, employment and commercial dispute resolution teams, the role requires the demonstration not ony of first class technical skills but also the ability to help shape the furture development of the commercial offering of the firm. Salary is in line with market rates depending on experience.
