I have an exciting position for an IT Support Analyst based in Telford for the motor manufacturing industry. The responsibilities of the job are to support the use of BPCS, the company's ERP package, and its associated systems and also to provide information using the Cognos Impromptu reporting package. The incumbent will be a member of a small team and will report directly to the Head of IT. He or she must be self motivated, capable of working either on their own or as part of a small team and able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. They must also have a methodical approach to problem solving, together with attention to detail, and the ability to work to agreed standards and procedures. A working knowledge of PCs with Microsoft products is essential. A qualification (eg Degree or HND) in computing, engineering or a related discipline is preferred and formal training in systems analysis would be advantageous. This is a permanent full-time position and will attract a competitive salary in line with experience.
