Working on loss recovery files you will liase/ negotiate with insurers and legal professionals, litigating when necessary. You will manage your own files including appeal cases and instruct experienced counsel. Career development will come through exposure to a greater variety of cases, through training and opportunities to assist more experienced fee earners. Your background should include litigated work, it is suggested that this might come from a personal injury, debt recovery, uninsured loss recovery or civil litigation background.
