The opportunity:
The Strategic Marketing team are looking to recruit a Consumer Market Insight Executive to join their small but highly successful team in Farnborough. This role will suit an individual with strong market research/analytical background who is looking to specialise within competitor analysis and profiling with direct relationships to Board level. As you will be working very closely with our Partnerships Marketing team who are based in Fareham you should be prepared to travel to these offices each week.
Reporting into the Head of Consumer Insight this role is responsible building a competitive advantage for Zurich through developing our understanding of the current and future insurance marketplace. You will also act as Zurich's external sensor assessing the impact on our competitive position through changes within the market place in order to catalyse the appropriate reaction from within the business. Therefore in this role you can expect to lead projects that develop Zurich's insight into its markets, competitors, customers, brokers and stakeholders in order to shape and develop our strategy.
In order to do this successfully you will manage and maintain relationships across marketing and the wider General Insurance business as well as external suppliers such as agencies. You will manage your own workload which will include set reporting activity as well as ad hoc duties that can emanate from Executive level.
About you:
Successful candidates will bring to the role proven experience in consumer insight analysis and be able to demonstrate strong report writing skills in both written as well as graphical formats. It goes without saying verbal communication skills should be exemplary.
Experience of working with primary and secondary data is imperative along with an organised and timely approach to analysis. Successful candidates will also have demonstrable experience of working with Data agencies, IT and other data suppliers and have experience of managing tender processes.
Ideally candidates will have a financial background or be able to provide evidence of an understanding of how financial organisations operate.
