Job description

This role is to provide creative inspiration and drive the marketing function forward. Working in partnership with public and private sector stakeholders to promote the area as a destination through a wide range of marketing activity across the whole mix.   The post holder will strategically plan forthcoming marketing activity, in line with the organisational objectives and the business plan, taking responsibility for adhering to budgets and project delivery.   The marketing manager will oversee corporate and consumer PR activity, on and off line marketing to raise the profile of both the organisation and the destination.   The Marketing Manager will develop new commercial opportunities and contribute to the overall performance.   You must have strategic vision, excellent line management skills and the ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
