Media sales manager 30K basic, 45K OTE London, Aldgate My client is the monthly trade newspaper for the English Language teaching industry. Established in 1979 this publisher has been under the same management for 21 years. A new company, with new funding and shareholding, was set up this year in order to exploit the potential of on line advertising and digital publication. A new recruitment service for global employers is also being planned. As part of this new division a media sales manager is required. As an experienced media sales manager your job will be to look after a small team of sales people, manage some of the largest accounts, as well as being involved in forward planning with the editorial team. You will carry responsibility for the profitability of the publication; online and print, as well as making sure the team hits targets and key performance indicators. You will also be involved in launching the recruitment service planned. This media sales manager role is ideal for someone with experience as an advertising sales team leader. Ideally you are working for one of the national or regional newspapers selling advertising space, both online and print. You must have experience in telesales, and be educated to degree level.
