A role for someone with experience of account management within PR and communications, working on media and PR projects and strategies for blue-chip clients. You will be joining an exciting niche agency helping to service existing clients and win new ones. You will be building relationships with key journalists and overseeing a host of marketing, writing and research projects with the aim of building awareness and meeting the marketing objectives of your clients. In return for you’re your enthusiasm and knowledge you will benefit from great training, including financial support for CIM qualifications, and mentoring from some leading players in the sector. You should have knowledge or an understanding of the agriculture and food industry and rural affairs, whether through education or experience. For example, you could have an agriculture related degree, or you might have worked in the sector, or perhaps grown-up in a rural community or on a farm. If you have an aptitude for working with technical or scientific products that would be ideal, so even if your degree is within engineering or science this could be beneficial. It is likely that you have worked at Account Manager level in a PR or communications agency, or at Account Executive level and be ready for a step-up.
