Core Responsibilities:- ·Delivering the PR agency business by researching and contacting prospective clients, creating pitch documents, presenting in conjunction with the Head of Visitor Marketing, through to contracting and delivery of PR agency service. ·Overseeing the work of the Press and PR Officers and providing management support to them, to ensure PR support is provided, on time and to the expected standards. ·Supporting the Head of Visitor Marketing to achieve the strategic goals of the team. ·Undertaking campaign planning and PR support for specific events. ·Developing and continually reviewing the working systems to support the day to day operation of the PR team. ·Co-ordination of visitor marketing PR to ensure maximum press and radio coverage for all clients to increase attendance and profitability. ·Developing excellent working partnerships with all key stakeholders to ensure long term relationships which are mutually beneficial. Person Profile ·Proven PR experience, ideally in event publicity. ·Proven experience of acquiring new PR agency contracts. ·Sales skills to include proactive and direct sales skills as well as tender and presentation skills. ·Commercial awareness and business acumen. ·Computer literacy, especially in Word, Excel, Outlook. THE PACKAGE: £28,000k pro rata. LOCATION: Birmingham, Warwickshire, Solihull, West Midlands.
