Our client, a prominent broadcast network, is looking to recruit a Pan Regional Planner to join their sports division based in London. The principal responsibility of the Planner will be to provide support to as well as be involved in the function of the advertising sales department who is responsible for the broadcast properties and the development of multimedia sales opportunities across the company's International networks. Key Responsibilities include: ·Providing support and being involved in the team reaching and exceeding departmental sales targets and deliverables ·Servicing of media agencies as well as selected clients as defined by the needs of the department ·Communicating with programming/production/research departments to compile creative solutions for clients/agencies ·Communicating with international sales offices and research to form pan-regional sales proposals Person Specification ·Excellent communication skills ·Previous media sales experience, preferably within a support function ·Excellent standard of written English for business proposals ·Competency with computer programs such as PowerPoint ·Experience of Pan Regional advertising sales is an advantage ·Experience of working in a corporate media/international/sports environment would be preferable
