This well regarded multi site regional private practice requires a Paralegal to join its Banking and Finance department based in Watford, Hertfordshire. The firm is ranked in the top 200 and continues to expand across all areas of practice. The role will involve running own volume caseload of mortgage repossession files with appropriate supervision. You should be able to take client instructions, set up files, maintain database, note limitation dates and conflict checks, check client papers, advise on court procedures, liaise with clients, debtors, borrowers and legal advisers, maintain own billing process, meet financial targets, prepare instructions for Counsel and attend County Court hearings. Suitable candidates will have previous experience of dealing with litigation and in particular Mortgage Repossession cases along with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and Legal Databases as well as case management systems. We are looking for a strong team player with excellent communication skills who is able to work under pressure and to deadlines with accuracy. In return you will receive a competitive salary of between £18,000 - £25,000 which is negotiable and dependent upon experience.
