Job description
A leading Aerospace manufacturer are looking for 2 Performance Analysts for a 4 month contract based in Cheltenham. This challenging role has emerged as a result of the increasing demand for ongoing and new design and development programmes. You will be responsible for providing technical/analytical support to a multi-disciplined team of engineers, at both component and aircraft system level. Key Responsibilities Develop and document critical systems and component models (ADAMS, ADAMS/Hydraulic, EASY5). Ensure that those models successfully interface with other systems and airplane structures being developed. Support the development of modelling processes and procedures including configuration controls, ensuring that systems architecture is always fully analysed and validated. To provide ongoing validation of models and modelling techniques against results of system and equipment tests conducted. Maintain and implement, as appropriate, industry standard processes and tools. Maintain and report schedule and technical status on regular basis to the Lead Analyst. The Person: Educated to degree level, you will have either a BSc or ideally an MSc in Mechanical or Aerospace from an accredited college or university. You will need to have had a minimum of 4 years applicable experience in mathematical modeling and the analysis of aircraft systems, ideally with a working knowledge of aircraft electronic systems and software. Be able to demonstrate a competent knowledge in dynamic modeling of Hydro Mechanical components/systems using modeling tools such as ADAMS, ADAMS/Hydraulics Experience of EASY5, MathCAD and Matlab. Is useful A good understanding of Systems Engineering processes, including Requirements Management, Change configuration, traceability, validation, verification etc. as well as system test, analysis and safety analysis.
