My Client has over 100 partners and 800 staff, providing a full range of legal services to business, the not-for-profit sector and the private individual in offices across Hampshire, Oxford and London.
You will be one of two professional planners who complement the existing legal services, including the carrying out of planning appraisals, local plan monitoring and negotiating consents, as well as giving evidence at inquiries and hearings. You will have a working knowledge of general planning law, be familiar with EIA regulations, minerals and waste, ecology and historic buildings.
You need to be adaptable and flexible in your approach, highly motivated and adept at marketing to help expand the existing client base. A sound commercial approach is essential. Comfortable in a team environment and keen to progress your professional career, you will need to be MRTPI or equivalent and have a minimum of three years experience gained in the public or private sector.
You must be able to communicate well at all levels and negotiate successfully. A commitment to providing first class service is essential.
