Leading Utilities company requires a Press and PR officer to join their exciting team to be responsible for publicising the company in local and national media as well as trade press.
This Press and PR Officer role will be based in Bath and will be expected to assist with corporate literature including customer leaflets and internal publications.
The candidate will also be working closely with the press and editorial manager to meet objectives set out in the company's PR plan.
The ideal candidate for this role should display
- - exceptional writing skills to include the ability to write concise, sharp copy
- - at least 2 years experience as journalist preferably with sub-editing skills.
- - an understanding of PR Promotion skills and techniques to launch effective PR campaigns.
- - Excellent attention to detail with proof reading skills.
- - Ability to work under pressure and ensure that tight deadlines are met.
- - Ability to work well as a team with excellent communication skills.
- - Exposure within a PR agency would also be an advantage.
- - Must have excellent computer literacy skills and hold a full UK driving license.
