Your role will be to advise clients and prospective clients on matters, which they have concerns and queries regarding. The death of a relative or loved one is an obviously difficult time and you will need to be able to remain professional yet sympathetic and provide advice in a clear and concise manner to those concerned. You won't be strapped to the phones though and you'll get plenty of time to help out with administration on probate files as they (and you) progress. No experience of probate work is necessary however, you'll need to have started studying for ILEX or have an ambition to do so or have completed either an LLB or LPC.
