Product Engineer (Aviation)- Exeter A leading manufacturer of aerospace forgings and castings is currently seeking a Product Engineer, to implement and develop all product engineering activities at their Exeter plant. Reporting to the Product Engineering Manager, the role will involve responsibility for- -Supporting the production of high quality castings, to customer's specifications -Evaluation and approval of design changes -Providing technical support for manufacturing issues, and root cause analysis -Working on cost reduction and method improvement projects Candidates should have good experience within a Production/ Product Engineering role, within the aerospace or defence sector. The following skills are also required- -Experience of FMEA -Experience of automation systems and tool making processes -A HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Production Engineering In return, the company offers a salary of £28,000- £30,000, plus benefits.
