Product Manager / Senior Product Manager South West, Gloucestershire £33K-£44K (dependent on experience) + benefits A superb opportunity for a commercially aware, numerate and results-focused Product Manager to join this leading, innovative manufacturer of consumer durables... You will be responsible for managing a product/category portfolio to ensure that budgeted sales and profit targets are met, as well as working proactively to ensure that product innovation and market needs are fully covered. Developing solid relationships with the sales and channel marketing teams will be key in order to define new business opportunities through market and competitor intelligence, launch new products to market, and develop and execute strategic product category plans. Educated to degree level and/or CIM qualified, you will have a proven ability in the management of New Product Development (NPD) projects, along with experience in developing and managing marketing programmes, and exceptional numerical & analytical skills. Your strong interpersonal, negotiation and people management skills will be key, as will a solid financial and commercial understanding. Previous product management and NPD experience within DIY, consumer durables or white goods would be advantageous, but other industry experience offering new ideas & a fresh approach may also be interesting.
