Job description
This role is reporting to the Head of Marketing and based in Northampton Description: The Product Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Product Marketing Plan. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing forecasting, driving the product P&L and developing marketing plans including specific strategies for Media, Online, PR and Retail. The Product Manager will work closely with Brand management to understand the overall strategic direction for titles; with the Development and Production departments to drive product and packaging delivery to relevant timelines, and liaise with UK sales and international partners to achieve the commercial goals of each title. Responsibilities: · Ensure a deep level of understanding of all aspects of the product · Develop marketing plans for specific products and ensure strategic direction of product is communicated to all relevant parties. Manage the execution of the product marketing plans. · Ongoing review and maintenance of the P&Ls from conception through to launch · Work with Development and Operations teams to track through each major milestone to manufacturing and delivery · Work with distributor/publishing partners in international territories to ensure knowledge of locally executed plans and related marketing spend · Overall responsibility for management of marketing asset and announcement schedules relating to specific titles · Develop briefs as necessary in areas of creative, print, TV, merchandising and trade marketing.
