The Role
- The role involves providing technical support to construction industry professionals and supporting the specification of our client's innovative technical products on some of the highest profile construction projects in the UK.
- Contribute towards the Company's growth & profitability through the specification & approval of the company's products.
- Maximise the specification potential in your area and driving specifications to conversion.
- Honour the Company's commitment to total quality.
- Provide technical support to both customers and the company's sales personnel.
- Provide specified technical training and auditing in the field with personnel & customers.
- Ensure the best return on time and effort with customers & projects.
- Ensure a work balance between designers, projects, risk avoidance & specification.
The Candidate
- Graduate degree (preferably Civil / Structural Engineering) or professional engineering qualification e.g. MICE or I.Struc.E - we will consider a Mechanical Engineering degree for the right candidate.
- 2 years post education experience in the construction industry ideally with a contractor or in a design office - for the right applicant we are willing to consider industry relevant undergraduate experience.
- Strong Engineering skills.
- Effective time management, planning skills and ability to meet goals.
- Works effectively with others and communicates well and regularly.
- Takes self-responsibility for learning and development.
- Your construction industry experience will ensure your credibility; and your IT literacy and willingness to learn will help you make the most of your future career development with us.
