Project Control Manager
Project Control Manager required to further development a strong financial framework and good communication channels with operations and project control in Stevenage.To enforce proper use of project control methods and processes within the following activities:Schedule Control Spend authorisation and cost tracking, handling recharge activities Monthly Operating reviews (workload and schedule) preparation and presentation Project specific Risk and Opportunity management Internal and External RelationshipsInternal- Supports the key management in all business activities from business development (Bids) to continuing programs.Interfaces with supporting Directorates and BU management.Interfaces and works closely with project and work package management to assist with the achievement of deadlines. To directly manage a small team of project controllers to ensure quality and accuracy. To develop the team to the point of effective succession management taking into account personal aspirations of individuals.External- Bid Teams, BD management.Main Responsibilities Analysing and explaining variances Anticipating requirements of Project and Divisional Management Responsible for the integrity of financial forecasting; including milestones, cash receipts and payment, foreign currency Responsible for the development of the tools to a level that fulfil the requirements Maintains the financial validity of work orders / contracts with the Prime contract and subcontractors Masters the use of the company accounting systems and reporting tools (SAP) Contributes to the process improvement on project accounting tools, reporting, methods and rules Generate monthly financial reporting packs both for financial and operational management.
