ASSISTANT RETAIL TRAVEL MANAGER FOR LEADING TRAVEL COMPANY My client is a leading independent retail travel agent, with branches across the Midlands / South West making them a market leader in retail travel! They are now seeking an experienced Retail Travel Assistant Manager to help manage the team of travel consultants in Gloucester. This is an excellent chance for a senior travel consultant to step up or an existing retail travel assistant manager to take a new challenge! RETAIL TRAVEL ASSISTANT MANAGER DUTIES: The key duties of the Retail Travel Assistant Manager will be: To assist the branch manager in the smooth running of the retail travel agency through -Maximisation of branch sales and profits -Maintain unrivalled customer service -Coaching and developing travel consultants -Deputising in the managers absence -Ensuring up to date knowledge on all matters affecting the running of the branch. -Ensuring all Travel Consultants perform to the best of their abilities -The Retail Travel Assistant Manager will also be hands on in sales and thus still have opportunity to create dream itineraries! RETAIL TRAVEL ASSISTANT MANAGER SKILLS REQUIRED: This is an excellent step up for a senior retail travel consultant, who also has some supervisory experience. Or it could be a new challenge and progression for an existing Assistant Manager, looking for a new team and to get in with a travel company that has realistic career progression opportunities.
