SALES ENGINEER £34-35K + 5-8K OTE + PASSAT + MOBILE + LAP TOP + PENSION + HEALTHCARE + LIFE ASSURANCE + 23 DAYS HOLIDAY THE COMPANY Having rapidly grown over the last 5 years this business is now well established as one of the top manufacturers of industrial pipework systems and connectors for compressed air in manufacturing processes. The business is looking to strengthen their sales force by adding another sales engineer in the South of England. THE ROLE As a sales engineer you will be selling predominantly to M+E contractors, specifiers and consultants. You will be tasked with researching the market, as well as providing solutions for end-users through a distribution network. Your role will be equally focussed on supporting the existing projects as well as developing new contracts. You will be selling aluminium pipework for compressed air in manufacturing as well as water coolant pipework. Projects can last 1-2 years so you will need to build relationships with all points of contacts to ensure that you can maximise sales opportunities. THE CANDIATE The ideal sales engineer should have: - Experience with selling to contractors and consultants - A strong engineering background with at least HNC qualification - A stable track record in sales - Want to develop a career with a rapidly expanding business THE BENEFITS The successful sales engineer will receive a personally tailored training package both in the UK and Europe. You will then be goal managed to take on increased responsibility subject to performance. Due to the size and growth of the business the scope for progression will be limitless. There will be opportunities to progress to Sales management within 3-5 years and there will also be opportunities internationally.
