Job description
Technical Sales Consultant The Role The primary objective is to secure strong specifications with Architects / Structural Engineers and promote our clients brand, products and services. The role requires, the ability to understand and communicate building construction techniques and waterproofing principles, building industry knowledge, technical acumen, self motivation, integrity and a sound work ethic. Key responsibilities Reporting to the National Sales and Marketing Manager, the successful candidate would be responsible for; „X Generating specifications in North London, Northern home Counties, East Anglia and Birmingham „X Promoting brand awareness, products and services through face to face meetings with Architects, Structural Engineers and Contractors „X Planning and preparing full and productive days in the field „X Providing key specifiers with technically sound advice on structural waterproofing solutions „X Undertaking technical seminars to promote product ranges & services. „X Presenting a highly professional company and personal image to the customer at all times. „X Achieving agreed monthly key performance targets, as briefly outlined below. Candidate Profile The role requires a technically minded, highly motivated, conscientious, pro-active and organised professional with a desire to succeed in a challenging technical / specification sales environment. The ability to understand and communicate building construction techniques, waterproofing principles, British Standards, architectural drawings, specifications and identify where a sales opportunity exists is essential. The candidate must be comfortable with communicating with industry professionals, at all levels and understand the importance of promoting a positive and highly professional company image to the customer at all times. The candidate must also demonstrate that they are a team player.
