Test Engineer Permanent Cheltenham Hydralic Test Equipment Engineer required to cover hydro-mechanical test and development for the 787 programme. Role activities: Design of Hydraulic systems. Calculate to size actuators, accumulators and piping. Commissioning hydraulic systems on hydro-mechanical test rigs. Compile documentation including Qualification test schedules and Acceptance Test Procedures. Monitoring hydraulic tests. Problem solving hydraulic circuits/rigs to include stripping components/systems to fault find. Support test vibration fixture design Experience &. Knowledge: Hydraulic design & System experience plus technical leadership in this field. Hydraulic test rig commissioning experience Good understanding of hydraulic Systems & components essential. Experience of sizing hydraulic components. Experience with hydro-mechanical test rigs. The ability to create hydraulic schematics. Knowledge of regulations and legislation such as health and safety. Experience with labview and electronic/electrical svstems COSHH. Airworthiness regulations, JAR, EASA, etc would be beneficial. Closed loop control systems experience.
