Tooling Design Engineer required. Task Description: A350 Programme Develop tooling concepts/schemes to achieve optimised tooling solutions Translating product design intent into tooling philosophy for key features and datums CAD model and develop approved schemes to optimum design standard Maintain and update tooling standards and procedures Influence product design and build methods Technical support for production on any build problems and improvement proposals Exploitation of new tools, techniques and technologies into new projects Incorporate ICY requirements and checks into tool design Project Management of external design/manufacture packages CRITICAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS (MUST HAVE) Experience in Tooling production for aerospace industry 3 years. Sound understanding of aircraft product design and assembly process Extensive skill level in project management tools and techniques Sound knowledge of non-contact measurement systems and tooling assembly techniques Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong desire to innovate Inter-personnel and influencing skills Highly motivated and creative ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS (DESIRABLE TO HAVE) Knowledge of quality standards for aerospace components. Manufacturing planning experience for aerospace components. Full MS Office IT Skills.
