My client is a market leading company which supplies an innovative range of healthcare products to both the NHS and private sector, in addition to a selection of biomaterial products to the UK Dental Market. Their products are supported with extensive clinical data and the company has an excellent reputation for customer support and education.
As a result of their continued success an additional territory has been created on the sales force and consequently an opportunity has arisen in the following area:
SR 1576 London South East (NE, E & SE London, Essex, Kent, Sussex, Surrey)
In this role you will be responsible for promoting two bio products involved in regenerating bone prior to dental implants, specifically:
- a space maintaining bone mineral matrix used in GBR & GTR, available in a variety of formats (granules, block or combined with collagen)
- a resorbable barrier membrane used during GBR & GTR to prevent soft tissue invasion of a bony defect.
Working in a totally field based capacity you will call on a variety of key customers within secondary care, including Oral and Maxillofacial departments, and Private Orthodontic Surgeons. You will be responsible for promoting the product range, teaching and in service training of staff to enable them to get the best results from the products, and building/maintaining relationships with key customers - excellent communication and teaching skills are therefore a must.
Our client will consider candidates from a range of backgrounds such as experienced dental sales representatives, or individuals involved in the dental industry in some capacity who wish to retain their clinical knowledge but now want to apply it in a more commercially facing role (technicians, dental nurses, hygienists etc). If you have not worked in dental sales before you will ideally have a dentally related qualification with at least 1 year of experience in a secondary care setting or implant experience which will help you to empathise with existing or prospective customers.
As with all field based sales roles of this type, a full UK driving license is require (with 6 points or less) and all candidates must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
