Our client is one of the UK's most well respected eductaional establishments. Their Design and Print services team now requires a web designer/developer to join their team of experts to ensure that their digital marketing plans are put into place with style and panache! The role is to design and develop websites for both internal and external customers, managing the process from initial design brief to site completion. You will use your knowledge of new media technologies to ensure developments meet the customers needs. You will be responsible for producing original concepts, ensuring full accesibility, providing customer support and technical assistance, following identity guidelines, liasing with internal and external customers and keeping abreast of new media technology. You should have proven experience of designing and developing websites from conception to completion, demonstrating an excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS to W3C standards as well as an excellent knowledge of Dreamweaver and Photoshop. Experience of designing for public sector or higher education would be advantageous as would knowledge of PHP and MYSQL.
