HVAC Project Manager

Our client is a national M&E Building services company they maintain, install and manage the systems and services that support the operation of buildings and infrastructure in a wide variety of environments. They currently have a position for a HVAC Project Manager to join their Marine Division in Glasgow. The role will encompass some UK and Overseas travel, an allowance will be added to the base salary to allow for this Candidates will have proven Project Management experience/skills/ability Capable of handling multiple projects Have a background in marine ventilation and air conditioning systems Knowledge of the requirements of ship and offshore regulatory bodies Experience gained in working with ships and within shipyards Experience of HVAC system design & estimating Capable of HVAC system design including calculating airflows, cooling loads, heating loads and pressure drops Capable of carrying out sales and survey visits Experience of managing people Ability to prioritise, plan and work within budget and to tight deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Customer focused; able to handle a variety of internal and external customer situations and build relationships with customers/suppliers Qualified to HNC level or equivalent IT knowledge/skills; to include Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and CAD Team working; ability to work on own initiative and within a small team Driving license If you do not hear from us within seven days, then your application has not been successful on this occasion.
